I use the 30 & 25 lb. tests on my downriggers.
15 lb test works excellent for Manistee, MI April Brown Trout. Zero issues
since 2008 says a lot. Line is something you learn to trust over time, cuz
it earns your trust 1 fish at a time. This is the same line we use to make meat rigs. This
mono lasts & still looks like new after a season's use.

Monofilament fishing
line was first developed in Germany by a company named Ockert in
1949. Triple Fish is made in Germany. The leader in
monofilament technology. This is one of the few brands of mono
designed to go thru many wet-dry cycles with no loss of line, or

| Been using the line
since the early 1990s when it first came out. Spectra fibers
in this line are less effected by damaging UV that destroys the
cheapie stuff. Using this braid on your rigger reels with mono
leaders is the big deal for deep, plus 100' depths.
This is a made in USA salt and pepper
line that will plainly show you any frays, long before they become
an issue. This braid will outlast any braid on the market
barring none. Expect years of service, instead of just a few months.
1200 yards breaks down to about 9 cents a yard for a reel bargain. |
This leader material
has outperformed the "other" brands of mono we tried for our meat
rigs. Good abrasion resistance and the knot strength is off the
scale. Durability is several seasons for the main strings made
back to 2008 and are still good to go.
If it wasn't beyond good? ...I wouldn't use, or sell it!
